EPIs a liberal source and they only asked LABOR economists and even THEY mostly arent convinced that minwage increases are harmless to employment. HAHAHAHAHA You seem to have confused the CONSERVATIVE *Employment* Policies Institute with the more liberal *Economic* Policy Institute. Both have the acronym EPI. Nice try, but theyre partisan hacks. (Im not just assuming it- I can tell by the titles of some of their publications, such as Rotten ACORN: Americas Bad Seed. Tell me thats not partisan! Why would an economic policy think tank care about ACORN enough to trash them in a paper? Gimme a break!) Even Wikipedia flat-out calls them fiscally conservative in the very first sentence of the article about them. And anyway, that EPI study is an ABSOLUTE EFFING JOKE!!! All it is is the results of a survey, in which they asked some economists what those economists BELIEVE. The questions are in the pdf. Theyre all phrased in a way that asks for the economists *OPINIONS*. Thats NOT an empirical study of ANYTHING, other than the opinions of some economists. EXACTLY the sort of thing I would expect a partisan think-tank to produce. To a T.
