Remembering an icon ... Gone too soon! Eyob Mekonnen died leaving an album that could be taken as a tune that no one could tire of listening. Tunes with contents that are so deep and full of amazing values. Values that are far reaching and life lessons and philosophies that each one of us should share and cherish. In each of his works his true personality is painted and coined through the powerful lyrics. I could not stop wondering what his next album could have been like. He left with his heavy footprints in the music industry and probably in all of our lives through his great work of art. He only won the respect and love he deserved after he passed away. I hope we all have learnt our lesson, that no matter what we should take this right moment that we are on to celebrate the people we hold dear, to nurture the lives of those we value much.
