Remembering record producer Phil Ramone his b-day. Nice clip of Billy Joel inducting him into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2010 below.. If you dont know Phils name, you probably know some/many of the hit singles & albums he worked on- lots of big recordings for many major mainstream artists ..from the 70s onward. His producing (and engineering) credits are pretty amazing. One of The Guys for a generation of pop music (thanks to ATM-plus for the clip)
