Remembering the victims of the Srebrennica genocide in 1995, - TopicsExpress

Remembering the victims of the Srebrennica genocide in 1995, considered to be Europes worst war crime since the Holocaust in the Second World War. More than than 8,800 Bosnian Muslims were killed as part of an ethnic cleansing programme, thousands faced brutal savagery and countless women raped - the world failed Srebrennica at its time of need. Ironic that whilst many around the world reflect on the lessons learnt by the Bosnian genocide we face another humanitarian crisis unfold before our very eyes as the genocide in Palestinian worsens, it really is such a tragedy that throughout history, innocent civilians are the ones who have always suffered as a result of unlawful politically motivated attacks.
