Remembrance Day… (TLDR but please read) It is those people who have fought for our great freedom, our rights as Canadians, the ones who sacrifice and or are sacrificing their lives today to make our country so great… those are true heros. Their sacrifices mean much more than a meaningless facebook post like this one… they are priceless but all we can do today is to say thank you… or to see someone tomorrow and just say thanks… thanks for the peace you have given and keeping our lands so glorious and free. We will never know what you’ve experienced.. seeing ur best friends gone in a split land mine… ur buddies tortured to death… the concentration camps and mass murder u have seen. These things u have done so we wouldn’t have to and once again priceless. If u don’t pay just 1-2 minutes of ur time tomorrow at 11:00 to show some respect…its ur own decision but one day u will wake up and realize how privileged u are to live in Canada. One day u will learn to show some class, some respect for these individuals who fought for u and this glorious country… they didnt fight for themselves they fought for YOU. Would u want to be storming the beaches of Normandy under 1,000 bullets per minute from the worlds fastest machine gun at the time? Would u want to be tortured/ see ur friends tortured and killed in concentration camps? Point is the least u can do is pay a couple minutes of respect to our veterans and make a donation to a poppy box… show how much u appreciate them by stopping and just saying thanks.
