Reminder on the foster pups - they are not through all their puppy shots yet so they need to be hermits for a couple more weeks. No doggy parks or pet stores. They do NOT want to play with the new puppy your neighbor just adopted from the shelter. Vomiting or bloody poo is panic time with puppies - Please call John or me immediately - every second counts - we dont care what time it is. Better safe than sorry with puppies - I cant stress that enough. Slow and gentle crate training please - a little at a time and keep SAFE toys and blankets in there with them - no unsupervised rawhide or plastic toys that they might chew up and choke on while youre not there to help. If youve taken a puppy to foster I cant thank you enough. You are making sure theyll be happy social dogs for their forever homes. YOU are the best chance they have of finding their forever and the best chance they have of staying healthy now. A MILLION THANKS TO ALL THE FOSTER MOMS. And dont forget - the more pics we see, the better we know them, the faster theyll go home. There is no such thing as overposting a puppy whos looking for that perfect forever home.
