Remington. Not a gun. Not a razor. But a Beagle! Estimated to be eight to nine years old, this Beagle mix arrived at the Harnett County Animal Shelter in North Carolina on April 7th. We dont how or why Remington ended up at the shelter, but we do know that as an older dog in a crowded rural kill shelter, his life was in danger. On April 14th, RADAR provided an offer to assist with Remingtons vet costs as an incentive for a rescue to take him. Jan Grafton and her Juliets House Rescue in North Carolina pulled Remington! He was safely out of the shelter on April 16th. Fortunately, Remington tested heartworm negative; however he did need dental care. Remington had his dental treatment, along with his neutering, done on May 5th. Jan told us this about Remington (whos also known as Remi): Hes a terrific little Beagle boy! Remi is a little shy at first. He likes to cuddle and snuggle. Remi is great with female dogs and cats. He has also been around children and does fine. He likes to play, and doesnt act like a senior citizen! Please donate to Remingtons Fund - $50 raised of $110 goal: raisingaidfordogsatrisk.org/remington Fund It Forward!
