Reminiscing. I remember going to buy a kitten to surprise my ex - TopicsExpress

Reminiscing. I remember going to buy a kitten to surprise my ex for her birthday. When I arrived at the sellers house I was a bit turned off by the filth. The lady answered the door and led me to where the kittens were kept. For nourishment, there was a bowl of old spaghetti on the floor and 5-7 kittens were desperately digging in. All of them had stripes except this one all cream colored kitten that was smaller than the rest. Every time he would try to get in to eat, the other kittens would pull & push him away. Eventually he just sat there whimpering, looking exhausted from hunger and being trampled. She asked me which one I wanted but before she could finish the question, I was reaching for that particular one. She gave me a look as if she was surprised that I would choose the tiny, sickly looking one over the larger, active kittens. To me it wasnt even a question. I was rooting for the under-cat. I rescued my new kitten and took him to his new clean home where he could be loved and cared for and not have to battle for nourishment. There is a moral to this story. I hope you cats have learned a valuable lesson; your greed and lack of compassion for your brother is why you are stuck in a filthy ass house, getting fed leftover spaghetti by a mean morbidly obese lady with a Tom Selleck mustache. The End.
