Remnant prayer journal: Prior to the start of the 40 days (1.20, 2015) Matthew 28:16-20 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, to the mountain which Jesus had appointed for them. 17 When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted. 18 And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth. 19 Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen As Jesus explained to us about the kingdom of God for 40 days. He told us to go into prayer in oneness for the filling of the Holy Spirit. When those who gathered in Mark’s upper room holding on to this Word prayed with one heart, they received the promised Holy Spirit and conquered Rome with the Gospel. Before we begin our “40 days” today, there is a promise we must hold on to. What is that promise? 1. Promise of the Bible There is only one answer to solve the problem of life of living in slavery after leaving God and falling into sin. It is Jesus Christ who has died on the cross in our place and resurrected. That is why God promised to send us Jesus Christ as the most important promise that was recorded in the Bible in Genesis 3:15 and Isaiah 7:14. 2. Promise of Christ There is a promise that Christ Himself give us according to the promise of the Bible. It is the promise of Matthew 28:16-20, and it will be our eternal answer and blessing. The first promise is that He has given us all authority in heaven and earth. Second is to make disciples of Christ of all peoples. The last promise is that He will be with His children always until the end of the age. 3. Promise of being with us even now Christ is with us even now and is answering us from the throne. Therefore, no one can block a person whom God is with. Like this, God mobilizes His angels to guard and protect His children perfectly. Also, He will be with us eternally. [Forum Topic] Set a plan for your “40 days,” meditate on the promise given to you, and restore faith. Then, challenge. [Minute Meditation] I pray that I can begin the challenge for 40 days with the promise that God desires.
