Remote Reasoning or To a Toggle or Not to Toggle I had always said I would never get a Tattoo. However, I do think that Angelina Jolies tattoos of the co ordinates of her adopted children is a great reason for getting a tattoo. I have found that one glistening ahh hah remote reason moment to entertain the thought of getting one. My son was about ready to have an out of body experience when trying to give me instructions (for the umpteenth thousandth time) for one of their 5 television remotes. In the methodical and deliberate patience he was mustering up, he saw me in full bloom confusteration. Yes, that is a new and completely valid word for websters dictionary. And why cant the manufacturers of those gizmos have those step by step instructions on the back? Why? Because the remotes are the size of our hand, and you need something the size of a classroom chalkboard and the visuals that go with it for instructions. And maybe a glass of wine to calm the fact that you want to throw the remote gizmo into a blender gizmo. Then I thought, my son would be so proud of me if he saw me fire up the TV and go right to HDMV1 and click over to Apple TV and toggle to Netflix, all the while with narry a furrowed brow. And, all the while he would be none the wiser that I have referenced my discreet instructional tattoo.
