(Removing a Spam Attack From Facebook) Step 01 Sign into Facebook and go to the Secure My Account Page. Read through the notice on the page and click Continue to begin the process of securing your account, then click Continue again. Step 11 Input a new password with which to replace the old password. Confirm the new password and click Change Password, which locks the hacker out of the account. Step 21 Change your email password, as per Facebooks request. The hacker may have gained access to your email accounts, particularly if you use the same password as your Facebook account. Click Continue. Step 31 Confirm your personal information to make sure the hacker hasnt made any changes to it, including the questions youve chosen to assist you in the password reset process. Step 41 Click Log In once youve verified this information to finish the process of securing the account. # tipAvoid clicking suspicious links posted by others ; these are usually posted by hackers.
