Renew Your mind Today The Priestly Ministry - Intro Scp Ref: 1 Pet 2:5,9, Rev 1:6 1 Pet 2:5 says “and, as living stones, form yourselves into a spiritual House, to be a consecrated Priesthood, for the offering of spiritual sacrifices that will be acceptable to God through Jesus Christ.” –TCNT. All throughout the scriptures, we find the concept of priesthood as a part of God’s ultimate plan for His chosen people. In the plan of God, He wants all His people to serve in the priestly ministry; to be consecrated priests unto Him, not one or some of us, but all of His people. I have found out, as I grow up in the Lord, that one reason why most believers walk in darkness is because we have not yet come to fully acknowledge who God has made us in Christ, particularly our calling as priests unto the most high. I personally believe that if all believers can fully comprehend who we are in Christ, acknowledge our priestly ministry, and cling strongly to God’s vision for us, and walk in the light of it, we will see the mighty hand of God operate in our lives and that of others like never before. In my opinion, the greatest thing that can happen to the believer after getting born again, is to fully acknowledge who God has made him in Christ, and to fully understand the things accomplished in his new spirit. As soon as he begins to comprehend his new identity and touch the reality of it, then boom, he will be on the crack, crazy about God and seeking Him for the rest of His life. Then his life and that of others get transformed immediately because he will be filled with all the fullness of God. I’ve been waiting and praying to God to grant me light and the go ahead for me to share my idea on this concept of priesthood and the priestly ministry which is our focus this semester in NUBS-KNUST. And so, for next few days ahead, I’d like to share short messages that God has impressed on my heart concerning this subject. I’m excited about this brand new series and I believe it’s gonna be a tremendous blessing to all those who read my posts. I also believe and declare that the Holy Ghost will bear witness to these simple truths in our hearts, and as the eyes of our understanding become more enlightened, we will know the hope of our calling via the word of life.
