Reno Rodeo Foundation received 6000 pairs of BOBS clogs from Sketchers through a partnership with K.I.D.S. Inc, a Reno Rodeo Foundation partner agency. The Rodeo Foundation distributed the 6000 garden clog style shoes to all K-5 students at Libby Booth, Mariposa, and Nachez Elementary schools and children in families with extraordinary needs in 13 northern Nevada counties. The Reno Rodeo Foundation also distributed Sketcher BOBS gardening shoes to children in the following programs: Department of Child and Family Services - Foster Youth, Volunteers of America Family Shelter, Reno Sparks Gospel Mission, Good Shepards Clothes Closet, Washoe County Sheriffs Office - Christmas on the Corridor Program, Step2, Big Brothers Big Sisters of Northern Nevada, Think Kindness, Women and Childrens Center of the Sierra, University of Nevada Cooperative Extension 4-H, Washoe County Department of Social Services, Kids Kottage. ktvn/story/25531430/thousands-of-shoes-donated-to-area-children-in-need
