Repairs to drains ----------------------- A few months ago, a MBPJ contractor came to repair the damaged drains along parts of Road 1 and Road 4. The work stopped about a week or two before the start of puasa. Yesterday (10th September 2014), a new MBPJ contractor came to resume the work along Road 1. The new contractor came with some workers to dig out the old, broken concrete slabs along the drain at the junction of Road 1 and Road 4. Today (11th Sept), there was no sign of the contractor and the workers. Work seems to have stopped again. I hope they will come back soon as parts of the drain are no longer lined by the concrete slabs. If it rains heavily, the soil may be washed off. I dont understand why MBPJ changed the contractor when the 1st contractor was doing a reasonably good job.
