Replacing the warm, humid, clean Italian air with the cold, dry, and polluted Kazakhstani air has really done a number to my lungs--I cant take deep breaths because it feels like my insides are being scrubbed with tiny rocks. But on the other hand, the onset of winter means that awesome tiny oranges from Uzbekistan are back in the market, so I bought a kilo yesterday and ate about half. So its a win, I say.
