Even a child of 5th grade could understand the meaning, I am surprised you are confused with it. The verse says that the relatives of the dead are now divided from the dead person as they cant dance and laugh with that dead person like they used to do earlier. It no way means to get one self divided from the dead and abandon his body. Now that shows have either lack of proper understanding or you might be trying to misinterpret the verses to suit your need. :) Now come to verse 8, it commands the widow of the dead to Rise up, that is calls the widow to rise and reach above the world of living beings, that is to the heavens, along with his dead husband. In other words, commands to self-immolate herself, that clearly is SATI. Now as for the snapshot you posted, it has been reviewed very well.
