Report: Trayvon Martin’s parents reach $1M settlement in wrongful death suit The family of slain Florida teenager Trayvon Martin has reached a settlement in a wrongful death suit against the homeowners association of the community where he was killed in February 2012. The Orlando Sentinel reported on Friday that Tracy Martin and Sybrina Fulton’s settlement with the subdivision, the Retreat at Twin Lakes, was worth more than $1 million.
