Report from Google. Larik (Urdu: ) is a Sindhi tribe in Sindh, Pakistan. A tribe from interior Sindh. The people of Larik tribe/Caste are mostly found in District Naushehro Feroz, Khairpur, Sukkur, Larkana, Hyderabad, Shikarpur, Khanpur (Sind) and in the town of Bhitshah. There is a large village in District Naushahro Feroze named Moulehdino Larik. Another Village is in the Khairpur District named Shahladhani & Village Naukot in Mirpur Mathelo. The word Larik is made from the Sindhi word "Lar" it means th rope tied across the river sides. In the past this tribe "Larik" use the Lar (rope) for transporting the people on the boat at the both side of the river. Thus this tribe is being called "Larik".
