[Report from Kumamoto] My semester will begin in October. Now there are many orientation and things to do For example, residence card, insurance, Bank Account, Japanese class placement test, Registration, Dormitory orientation, etc. Yesterday was my opening ceremony, but there is nothing. President speech, student representative speech, participant stood up and clapped our hand one by one and finally group picture. it took 40 mins. I got my news yesterday. I have to study in another campus. not the nearest campus to my international house but it is okay. I can ride a bike there. it will took around 20 mins. Talk about bike, there are 23 bikes for rent for 80 people. Anyway, some students already had bicycles from their last-year students. My Thai friends also had them. Not only bicycles but kitchen stuffs. if next year there will be some students come here. I will leave my stuffs for them for sure. I applied for rent a bike, the result will announce today. and Japanese class placement test will announce today as well. I quite sure I will be in beginner class. Yesterdays test was a bit difficult for me. There are a lot of words I didnt know. I will try to find out as soon as possible. I hope 6 months will improve my Japanese language skills a lot. Yesterday I cooked Green curry and share with my roommate and roommates friends. Cooking materials here is not too much expensive as I thought. There are varieties of them from many area from Japan like mushroom from Kumamoto and mushroom from other town and the price is different. Last thing I want to tell is about disposing trash. Three principles are 1.Correct type of trash 2.Correct day 3.Correct location and sometimes I have to clean my trash such as plastic box of food from supermarket, Instant noodles packages or can before I trash as well as PET bottles.
