One of the first to break cover is GT’s latest all terrain cycle: The Grade. While in theory, it’s a road bike, it’s a road bike like very few others from a big manufacturer. Disc brakes, 15mm thru-axle forks, 28mm tyres as standard (with clearance for 35mm and more) slacker angles, low BB all shout out fun as much as fast. Fingers crossed we see some more bikes from the big players to challenge the innovation and ideas weve seen from the smaller independent thinkers.
