Reports are doing rounds that #Bollywood classic #Sholay’s 3D version is getting ready to release on megastar #AmitabhBachchan`s 71st birthday which falls on October 11. The movie portraying the eternal bond of friendship is said to be beautifully recreated in 3D. Jai and Veeru, played by Amitabh and #Dharmendra, have been ideal characters in the history of Indian cinema. A source stated, "The date was specifically chosen as it coincides with Bachchan`s big day. He is the biggest star we have today and what better day to release the film.” Sholay 3D will be distributed by producer #JayantilalGada. #RameshSippy’s original Sholay also featured #SanjeevKumar as Thakur Baldev Singh, #HemaMalini as Basanti, #JayaBachchan as widow Radha and #AmjadKhan as baddie Gabbar Singh.
