Reports last night are linking Everton with a possible loan deal for Manchester United frontman Javier Hernandez. Hernandez enjoyed a prolific start to his Old Trafford career, scoring 20 goals in his first season after joining the club in the summer of 2010. Hernandez struggled to find a way into the first XI following the arrival of Robin Van Persie at United and was used mainly from the bench for the majority of David Moyes’ calamitous reign. The writing now appears to be on the wall for Hernandez, who has been left out of the 25-man Manchester United squad for the pre-season tour to USA by new manager Louis van Gaal.
