Really it was a British protectorate. By British standard of law, a protectorate is a territory whose soil does not belong to the protector. Thus our attention therefore is drawn to the valid legal connotation: - que quid solo solo cedit meaning; he who owns land owns everything from bowel of the earth to the sky. Indeed it is undisputed fact that we (Barotzish) did not surrender our territory to any being. If we are the owners of Barotseland and everything in it then we must be the ones in control and in charge of it. The Government of Zambia has proved to be unfaithful, untrustworthy, dishonest, crooked, deceitful and perverse. However, we have reverted to our real status and it is common knowledge that land is held by the Litunga, in trust for the Barotzish. But sovereignty belongs to people of Barotseland. OBSERVATION:- Land belongs to us (Litunga) but administration belongs to aliens. This was un palatable; hence we declared independence. What it will take for Zambia to understand; only the evil one knows. It is true Zambians are obstinate and unscrupulous, but should they continue to stand on the way we shall take them to reputable international court; we promise (Zambia) that they shall be put to task to prove constructive possession of Barotseland. Zambia as a rogue state wants to take us for an easy prey. N.B. We are not here to deal with economic expediency inter alia the money spent by Britain in Barotseland; in education, health and veterinary services did not make Barotseland part of Britain. In the same vein money spent by Zambia in Barotseland if any does not make Barotseland part of Zambia this is a different country. In fact we owe thanks to:- i. Finnida ii. Jica iii. Danida iv. Cida v. NORAD vi. SNV vii. EU Whatever may be interpreted as little development has been funded by these and others.
