Repost: "I am a 24 year old woman and I have been with my boyfriend (26) for almost 3 years. Our relationship had a few rough patches in the beginning but now we’re good. I love my boyfriend and he loves me. I see myself with him for the long haul. He’s a really good guy. A few months ago I decided to stop relaxing my hair and transition to natural, my boyfriend was very supportive and encouraged it; however after I decided to cut all the relaxed ends off, his attitude changed. He hates it, and not a day goes by that we doesn’t tell me t relax my hair. He has never made me feel insecure about my appearance until now. I feel like he feels embarrassed by my hair and it really really bothers me. I love my hair and get tons of compliments on it. Other men also compliment my hair, however I feel like the one man I want to like me as I am, doesn’t find me attractive anymore. What do I do? "
