Reposting from my health group, because it is kind of hopeful news, despite it freaking me out at first! Have been getting dizzy/nauseous/weak if I do too much walking lately, so grocery shopping has been hard. Did it anyway, last time my sister came with me and today it was Oliver, but as sick as I got, it felt good to be getting meat, fruits and veggies again..... this fight feels so impossible with my still undiagnosed health issues, but Im not giving up! Might have accidentally stumbled upon something so Im marginally hopeful. Gave blood for the first time ever during Comic Con and I got a letter yesterday saying that my donation tested positive for antibodies normally associated with syphilis (wth?! NEVER had that!) but that the actual test for it was negative (thank God!!). It said I can still donate (woooo) but that I may want to bring those results up with my doctor. That peaked my curiosity so I turned to Dr. Google and it turns out false positives for that are commonly associated with lupus and lyme disease, both of which were on my radar as symptom-matches for my issues. So now its back to the doctor to have this new development looked into. So much more good than I even expected came from that blood donation!
