Reposting this from Remembrance Sunday last year: Setting aside my usual flippancy for a moment, I recorded a tune a few years ago with words recalling a trip I took with my family in 1998 to a WW1 cemetery near Arras to find the grave of my great-grandad. It was cold, remote and barren but we found it and I can still remember the feeling of my jaw hitting the floor all these years later.
