Republic of Tanzania is mobilizing diplomatic efforts to resolve internal power struggles among Sudan People Llberation Movement (SPLM) members. This is one kind of African initiatives which doesnt seem to have been influenced by other interests like that of Ugandan military intervention in South Sudan civil war. Those talks in Arusha, Tanzania should serve as model to Inter-governmental Authority on Development (IGAD), peace mediation in Addis Ababa though, the same Museveni is sticking his bloody/banana nose in every step of the way. For a lasting political settlement to take a firm hold, people started with Salva Kiir Mayardit who have committed crimes against humanity must be held responsible. On top of the list is the African brutal dictator, Salva Kiir Mayardit. The government of Uganda knows very well that their support to one side of the conflict will only worsen the situation but president Yoweri Museveni went ahead anyway deploying troops so that he gets a share of the South Sudanese oil money. It is quiet unfortunate that the oil is being seen by individuals as source to enrich themselves even if that means killing inhabitants of the oil producing areas. We like bananas but we have no intention of murdering banana growers, so why should others greedily eye on our oil with ill intention? We must stop this practice and make use of our oil domestically.
