Republican Congressmen Scott Perry (PA-4) and Paul Broun (GA-10) - TopicsExpress

Republican Congressmen Scott Perry (PA-4) and Paul Broun (GA-10) and Democratic Congressman Steve Cohen (TN-9) introduced a federal bill called Charlottes Web Medical Hemp Act of 2014 that would legalize CBD oils nationwide to treat epilepsy and other seizure disorders. It would remove CBD from marijuanas Schedule I classification. Though RAMP does not support choosing certain illnesses as more relevant and important than others (suffering nausea from cancer or regaining an appetite through cachexia or finding relief from the nightmares of PTSD), the nationwide recognition of cannabiss medical benefits in the specific chemical of Cannabidiol (CBD) is important. Ask your congressman to support this bill, or the bill that would remove marijuana entirely from its Schedule I classification, the Ending Federal Marijuana Prohibition Act from Jared Polis (CO-2). pennlive/midstate/index.ssf/2014/07/medical_marijuana_legalization.html#incart_river
