Republican Race Baiting is no less disgraceful and unnecessary than Democrat race baiting. I typically do not post about politics on Sundays, but this picture- posted by @docthompson of the Blaze, came across my news feed and I felt compelled to denounce it. I find this kind of messaging to be incredibly asinine, disrespectful and demeaning. The fact is that neither party has a clean record when it comes to bigotry- past or present. Both parties try to sanitize its ills. Many within both parties think Blacks are plain stupid- as evidenced by this very disturbing post that makes no attempt to educate on the basis of an issue, but merely seeks to manipulate the emotions of Black voters. I mean, what public policy can this picture help anyone to better understand? Will it make anyone more morally or constitutionally literate? Does it promote the GOP platform? Shameful hypocrisy on the behalf of Doc Thompson and some ignorant Republicans who are clearly lacking common sense. Lastly, its sad that some Black Republicans are too incompetent and devoid of moral courage to hold Republicans accountable when they perpetuate this kind of demeaning message about Black Americans for political purposes. This post by Mr. Thompson is disgraceful. Period. (Note: Not every Republican agrees with this petty race baiting game. Hence, I said SOME, for the record)
