Republicans trying to play the scandal game by discussing an intelligence gathering program which began during the Bush administration and was explained to them again and again through the seven subsequent years have necessitated the revelation of details which can do nothing more than assist would be terrorists in avoiding detection and which will, because of that, make the people of the United States less safe.
