Required to join our EModels Team Model Scouts: EModels require model scouts. A model scout is an individual who is employed to discover and recruit aspiring, potential models. Model scouts spend most of their time searching through the crowds to find that model that really stands out. Please understand that what looks good in real life doesn’t necessarily translate in front of the camera. How do scouts make their money? Keep in mind that model scouts take a cut or a commission for any jobs that the model/s they have acquired for the agency book. The way we expect our model scouts to work, is to find models that are relevant to our Agency. If the model does not have a composition/zed card then you need to take a few pictures and take down the models statistics and contact details. We will decide on the models we would like to meet. If a model/s that has been introduced by a scout has been chosen for an assignment, the scout would receive a percentage of the models booking. In order to be a model scout with EModels, you need to have a good eye, be well presented and able to approach potential models with professionalism and confidence. You have to be organized, and even though this is a part time position, a hard worker. You know their availability at all times, prepare them for castings and interviews with clients. It is so important to be organised and personable. The models need to know that they can depend on you to be there for them. Clients need to feel that they trust you and your opinion. This takes time but can be very rewarding. You propose certain models to clients, existing or potential. Your job will be to find work for these models, this will be done by phone calls, emails, lunches and events. You need to be aware with what is happening in the industry, and what specific requirements the client may have.
