Rescue Tuesdays horse that I know personally at Kentucky Equine Humane Center in Nicholasville, KY is Reno, a 2011 Saddlebred gelding standing 14.2hh. Reno arrived with a serious neck injury and although he has rehabbed beautifully and appears pasture sound he is not quite stable enough to carry a riders weight and should not ever be ridden. He enjoys attention, is easy to catch, and is good for the farrier. Reno has nice hooves and is doing quite well remaining barefoot, he also shares a rolling pasture with several other geldings and fits in well with the herd. He is available as a PASTURE COMPANION ONLY and would be a lovely addition to any family looking for a horse that enjoys meeting you at the fence for a scratch or would make a lovely companion for a lonely horse in need of a friend.
