Rescue isnt easy and theres always new kitties needing help or current kitties having something come up. Aries is one of our rescue kitties who has over come a lot and just when all is good...something happened and he got an abscess on the top o his head :( So, to the vet we went where it was lanced, cleaned and a drain placed. Some people complain about paying an adoption fee. To be truthful, the adoption fee doesnt even cover the medical to get them spayed/neutered, vaccinated, tested, dewormed and micro chipped. There isnt money in rescue...but what funds we have...all goes towards the kitties and their needs. Then some kitties require more, medical treatments, surgeries, and /or medications. We dont always post our trying times and the behind the scenes stories...but this is just to let you know that everything we do, we do above and beyond to make sure they are taken care of to the best of our abilities. Aries will have some recovery time but like all of our CLKR kitties in rescue, we are always grateful for each one saved.
