Researcher and author Marshall Klarfeld discussed the ancient ET race, the Annunaki, and how a possible cloaked space object, spotted near Mercury, could be one of their motherships. Based on his research, he surmised that the Annunaki created amothership as a proverbial weigh station to facilitate their gold mining operations afterthey arrived on Earth. He cited the 11th tablet of the Epic of Gilgamesh as evidence forthis mothership, since the story details how the Annunaki escaped the Earth during thegreat flood and fled to the craft. In turn, Klarfeld asserted that the entities may notbe on Nibiru, but actually much closer and watching us from the mothership near Mercury.Klarfeld was also very intrigued by a crop circle which appeared in Poirino, Italy thispast Summer. He contended that this formation, which he called the most magnificent crop circle Ive ever seen, was a communication from Enki, one of the Annunaki leaders. Contained within the crop circle, Klarfeld claimed, was binary code that spells out Enkis full name as well as a warning about radiation and a reference to a specific human gene. Based on this, he suggested that there may be an impending galactic super wave and the Annunaki are trying to alert the human race to the importance of the gene in surviving the effects of the subsequent overwhelming radiation.WikipediaThe Anunnaki (also transcribed as: Anunna, Anunnaku, Ananaki and other variations) are a group of deities in ancient Mesopotamian cultures (i.e., Sumerian, Akkadian, Assyrian and Babylonian). The name is variously written da-nuna, da-nuna-ke4-ne, or da-nun-na, meaning something to the effect of those of royal blood or princely offspring. Their relation to the group of gods known as the Igigi is unclear — at times the names are used synonymously but in the Atra-Hasis flood myth the Igigi are the sixth generation of the Gods who have to work for the Anunnaki, rebelling after 40 days and replaced by the creation of humans.Jeremy Black and Anthony Green offer a slightly different perspective on the Igigi and theAnunnaki, writing that lgigu or Igigi is a term introduced in the Old Babylonian Period asa name for the (ten) great gods. While it sometimes kept that sense in later periods, from Middle Assyrian and Babylonian times on it is generally used to refer to the gods of heaven collectively, just as the term Anunnakku (Anuna) was later used to refer to the gods of the underworld. In the Epic of Creation, it is said that there are 300 lgigu of heaven. The Anunnaki appear in the Babylonian creation myth, Enuma Elish. In the late version magnifying Marduk, after the creation of mankind, Marduk divides the Anunnaki and assigns them to their proper stations, three hundred in heaven, three hundred on the earth. In gratitude, the Anunnaki, the Great Gods, built Esagila, the splendid: They raised high the head of Esagila equaling Apsu. Having built a stage-tower as high as Apsu, they set up in it an abode for Marduk, Enlil, Ea. Then they built their own shrines. Some writers have proposed that intelligent extraterrestrial beings have visited Earth in antiquity or prehistory and made contact with humans. Such visitors are called ancient astronauts or ancient aliens. These proposals have been popularized, particularly in the latter half of the 20th century, by writers such as Erich von Däniken, Giorgio A. Tsoukalos, Zecharia Sitchin, Robert K. G. Temple, David Icke and Peter Kolosimo, but the idea that ancient astronauts actually existed is not taken seriously by most academics, and has received little or no credible attention in peer reviewed studies. Ancient astronauts have been widely used as a plot device in science fiction.According to later Assyrian and Babylonian myth, the Anunnaki were the children of Anu and Ki, brother and sister gods, themselves the children of Anshar and Kishar (Skypivot and Earthpivot, the Celestial poles), who in turn were the children of Lahamu and Lahmu (the muddy ones), names given to the gatekeepers of the Abzu temple at Eridu, the site at which the creation was thought to have occurred. Finally, Lahamu and Lahmu were the children of Tiamat (Goddess of the Ocean) and Abzu (God of Fresh Water).Zecharia Sitchins series The Earth Chronicles, beginning with The 12th Planet, revolves around Sitchins interpretation of ancient Sumerian and Middle Eastern texts, megalithic sites, and artifacts from around the world. He theorizes the gods of old Mesopotamia were actually astronauts from the planet Nibiru, which Sitchin claims the Sumerians believed to be a remote 12th planet (counting the Sun, Moon, and Pluto as planets) associated with the god Marduk.youtube/watch?v=3Y0GSHg31ug
