Reservation-meaning,necessity,aims etc. - Gurdevlal Surila . - Apr 29, 2008 reservation to scs was given in lieu of a seperate country.separate electorates were given to scs and muslims under communal -award.muslims didnot compromise and got their homeland-pakistan,where as scs compromise their right under poona -pact and were given reservation in lieu of seperate electorates,otherwise like muslims there could be a seperate country for sc-people also.so reservation is a scs birth-right for remaining with india. -a sc/ st employee lives in a poor family of brothers,sisters ,parents and childrens,who are a part of our society. if sc-employee gets benefits of reservation in the form of job,he does not utilize it for his individual needs alone,he utilizes the regained benefits to help his children, to help his parents,spends money on social functions of his daughters and sisters and what not? sc-employees income thus percolates in sc society.in different sc-families such situation is repeated and so in sc-society.it is wrong to say,sc-employee does not help his community.sc-employee is projected as if he has left sc-society and became a sanyassi.the fault is with the vedic mind-set who always intend to obstruct effective implementation of reservation policy causing huge back-log of sc-posts. if reservation policy was implemented honestly then every sc-family could get job to its atleast one member,and prosperity could be seen among them.it could be done by clearing back-log of posts and increasing jobs through private-sector.our approach should be dynamic and not static i.e.exclude creamy layer to make way for the poor-means employ one sc at the cost of another sc ,our approach should be -give employment to scs without unemploying other scs. --Reservation-meaning,necessity,aims etc. 1 .Reservation does not mean only to uplift the poor.it could be one of many aims of the reservation.other aims of reservation are participation in govt.-administration,policy framing to share state power for effective implementation of scs welfare schemes to raise their social economic and political status. distribution of economic fruits(money,jobs etc.) could not be left upon to its opponents. To protect sc-interests,presence of sc-employees in all offices(govt. and private) is a necessity. 2. reservations to scs/sts is a political decision taken by political committee on the constitution before its writings.therefore only political committee of india(now parliament) can take decision about its nature. judiciary was not a party to this political decision, so it must not meddle in it. judiciary is only to see its implementation and no policy framing about it. only political leaders can understand its nature because they were party to this political decision. 3. reservation is the only tested tool to ensure scs presence in jobs and other economic activites . in the absence of reservation , no other method like scholarships ,free books, free education, free training etc. at the preliminary stage could ensure scs presence in jobs, & economic activites.we are to talk in reality and not in bogus sympathetic words. vedic forces will create every hurdle to obstruct scs from reaching the economic benefits. after all monetary benefits are the bone of contention between reserve and non-reserve category people. life is a continuous process.scs need continuous flow of money to their houses through jobs & economic activites to ensure their life needs and to maintain their economic and social standing in the society. even one time help means nothing to scs. Scs to lay claim on the top stage of economic activity i.e.economic fruit, no less than this. Scs/Sts economy is not to remain revolving in the inner circle of sc-community, it has to be attached with the outer circle of the national economy. ----King Akbar the Great was not graduated from any college. he ruled whole of india without any graduation.if his intelligence could be questioned? please see that education is only a tool to polish the innate power of understanding(intelligence). man needs opportunity nothing else. reservation is such a tool which provide opportunities to scs/sts.--- @aditya i have not asked private sector to employ street-walkers to skilled jobs,my concern is that skilled sc/st with required qualification be given jobs in private sector.central govt. asked private sector to make available data for their employed manpower,except one or two industrial houses none replied.this shows their luke worm response to the presence of sc-manpower. . THESE ARGUMENTS WERE POSTED IN THE COMMUNITY----ANTI RESERVATION AND ARE PRODUCED HERE IN AFTERWARDS FOR THE BENEFIT OF FRIENDS OF THIS COMMUNITY. your statement--provide financial support if necessary--but one has to stop this reservation based entirely on caste. i may add here that for upliftment of sc/st reservation is necessary.reservation is a tested tool that ensures sc/sts representations in jobs and other economic activites. can any one suggest any other method that ensure sc/sts presence in jobs etc. further job- reservation( under article 15.4and16.4) is a life long process ,no time limit is attached to it in the constitution.how can we stop it. time-limit is only attached with reservation of MLA and MPs under article 330& 332. so discussion should required to be based on reality. ARGUMENTS---2. 1.your suggestion for free books ,tution etc to sc/st, doesnot hold ground,as it will not ensure sc/sts presence in jobs in wide spread unemployment. 2. govt impose economic limitations on giving freeship to sc/st students. if there is any discrepency ,it is for the govt. to see. 3.you mean you donot like to see sc/st coming to colleges in good condition.you want to see them in poverty only. what a mentallity? 4.your statement--the sc/st people bribed of reservation in lieu of their patriotism to india--i want answer firstly patriotism is a national phenomena where as reservation is a inter-societical phenomena of distribution of economic resources among the various classes. you mean demanding share or reservation in nations resources is anti-patriotic.what an argument? moreover reservation only ensures sc/sts share in the economy.further reservation was called into question on seeing the past experience of sc/sts exploitation by the vedic classes. i think you find the honest answer. ARGUMENTS---3. 1. reservation ensures scs,how to ensure generals? ------ all scs are not sure to get jobs even by reservation.there is wide spread unemployment.reservation protects scs from loading total-unemployment on their shoulders.so unemployment should be shared by all classes equally. 2&3.freeship--govt. you know elected for five years,imposed economic limitations on sc/sts for freeship.if in your opinion limit is insufficient then make case with govt. i have no objection. does criminals heir suffer punishment?----- reservation is not a punishment for generals,it only protects sc/sts from generals exploitation.you are advocating generals case as if sc/st has got 100% jobs through reservation.your impression is incorrect. i hope my friend will be satisfied now. ARGUMENTS---4. what is use of training such merited doctors who left the countryas to serve the aliens.merited doctors are useless if they donot go to rural india for serving. hunderds and thousands of sc-doctors serving in the rural areas,they are more useful. also sc-doctors are serving in govt. hospitals and dispansariesand i donot see hospitals become empty on postings of sc-doctors. reservation is given to a poor-community and a few poor people present in a community does not label that community as poor.so poverty is a wide phenomena, it should be shared equally by both scs and generals untill it is eradicated from the country.there is Hue and Cry for a few poor generals but no sympathy for millions of poor scs/sts.what a mentallity is present in the society? you mean deepika countrys total resources be left to the generals. scs have no claim on them.scs are not citizens of india? on countrys economic resources ,your querry shows your such an ignorance? please contact your any friend for this purpose.
