Resharing this today on the 5th year of this boy being held hostage. Its been called one of the worst cases of Soviet-Swedish Social Services and Soviet-Swedish government abuse ever committed against a home school family. I have debated sharing this heart wrenching story for some time, but as I see the ongoing injustice to this family I decided I will. Some of you fellow homeschoolers might all ready know about it. I have been following it now for almost 3 years. This is Domenic Johannson. He is currently 12 years old. At 7 years old he was snatched by the Swedish government and taken away from his parents. Why? Because he was homeschooled. At the time homeschooling was legal in Sweden, although highly frowned upon. It is currently illegal and the Swedish government hurried to make it illegal shortly after Domenic was kidnapped. In Sweden the state raises your child, mothers are almost required to go to work when their child is 6 weeks old and put them in state run day care. This is socialism. Domenics parents have exhausted every avenue available to them to get their only child home. He was a happy, healthy boy before, and if you go to their page and take the time to go through the pictures and comments, he is now broken, most likely indoctrinated, and also his health has deteriorated from 5 years in foster care. Domenic is not alone...thousands are snatched up by the Swedish government for no reason other than control. This is socialism/communism. You do not want this for America and I suggest you use every thing in your power to fight it. I will certainly not be so anxious to complain about my home schooling day after reading this.
