Residential Burglary and Theft Borough of Oaklyn Chief of Police Joseph T. Abbate is seeking the public’s assistance to identify the actor(s) involved in the burglary and theft of a residence in the West Cedar and Holly Avenue area of the Borough. Force was used by the actor(s) to gain access to the residence during the day time hours. The incident occurred on Wednesday, June 26th. Once inside the actor(s) removed electronics and jewelry that was valued at over 5,000 dollars. A suspicious Silver Sport Utility Vehicle was observed in the area. Trace evidence was recovered from the crime scene and is be evaluated by the NJSP laboratory. Residents are again asked to report any suspicious activity to police by calling 911. Anyone with information regarding this matter or who was in that area on that day is asked to contact the Oaklyn Police Department.
