Resource Efficiency and Sustainability in Logistics and Supply Chain Management” - Call for Papers Deadline: 3rd April 2015 The 20th Annual Conference of The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport, Logistics Research Network (LRN), will take place at the University of Derby (UK) from the 9th to 11th September 2015. The LRN Conference welcomes researchers and practitioners from diverse logistics and supply chain areas, and in all sectors, to publish their research work and industrial case studies. In particular, this conference’s theme focuses on work involving resource efficiency and sustainability issues in relation to supply chain management and logistics operations. It is hoped for this conference to demonstrate the current, promising research work within the theme in terms of its trends, challenges, and opportunities, so as to discover and explore new research directions for the research community and the practitioners. The topics covered are listed below. This is to include both complete work and on-going research (especially PhD projects). Presenting results from industrial work and “Insights from Industry” provided by practitioners are highly desirable. Authors wishing to prepare a paper for the conference are invited to submit a [strictly no more than] 500-word abstract for consideration by the organising committee.
