Respected Principal/Management, Start saying NO for the responsibility being forced on you about the school bus transport. 1. Do you want [Like] to take the responsibility of the school buses. If yes Are you aware of the Policy and new Norms the govt wants to implement. 2. Do you have time to follow the circular send in Marathi to read and implement. 3. Do you know the consequence of saying YES for accepting the Head of the transport committee. 4. Will you allow autos, Maruti vans and small vehicles to enter your school premises. 5. Will u give them the agreement and sign the MOU. [Karar patra] . 6. Do you Know How much your PTA will trouble you now everyday. 7. As local Corporator, police, local MLA, education Inspector daily will be in touch with U. 8. The Best example was the recent accident in Sion school, Outside Pvt Bus student met with the accident and died. Do you know the Lady Principal/Management of the school was being arrested and 6 hours she has to face the music from the police, media, and parents, she is out on bail, case is still pending which will come from time to time, were she has to attain in court another incident was the school in Vashi D.A.V. were the political party step in and blacken the face of the principal. I am not frightening you or have any personal interest, but making you understand the politics which the Govt is playing in the name of safety, the Home dept under which the transport dept works have no control on the school principals so they have forced the education dept to pressurize you all, and made you the target. I being the school bus operator is writing to you all this is just to save guard you from this Dirty Politics. No doubt many school bus operators will be loosing business in school after you take tough decision if you can, but as a President of School Bus Association and with due respect to your post it was my duty to make you aware that we are not against the safety policy but ever changing policy day by day as per the Govt wills and fancy force me to write. Rest it is up to you and the Management to decide what is Good N Bad. This is just one part were you are responsible, other 24 policy we Bus owners are facing at our end. Our request is to send the feedback with the consultation with your management to the Chief Minister or fight it out in the court. Once the policy is made it cannot be ruled back. Now is the Right time to say NO. Regards, Anil Garg.[President]
