Association for Gender Awareness & Human Empowerment (AGAHE) is a national non-government organization (NGO) registered under Societies Act 1860 at provincial level. It has been working in different sectors i.e. WASH, Micro Finance & Sustainable Livelihood, Health, Environment and Disaster Management since 2004 in Punjab & KPK Provinces. AGAHE is implementing Integrated Rural Water, Sanitation and Hygiene Project in District Muzaffargarh with technical and financial support of Water Aid in Pakistan. World Water Day is celebrated annually on 22 March as a means of focusing attention on the importance of freshwater and advocating for the sustainable management of freshwater resources. The United Nations General Assembly designated 22 March 1993 as the first World Water Day. In connection with World Water Day, AGAHE is going to celebrate World Water Day with the collaboration of AWAZ CDS & support of Civil Society Organizations, NGOs, CBOs & media at community & District level in Muzaffargarh to focus its theme water for everywhere, water for everyone.
