The Respiratory Therapy team partners with health care professionals across the continuum of care to provide quality therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care for our patients with acute or chronic cardiopulmonary disorders. Our certified respiratory therapists are specialized in both cardiac and pulmonary nursing and medicine, and work with patients to improve lung function through exercises, special medications and the use of oxygen equipment. This experienced team incorporates evidence-based practice and state-of-the-art technologies in their practice to improve patient experience while at our hospitals and clinics. As a Registered Respiratory Therapist, you will help to provide professional, compassionate respiratory therapy care to patients and their families at Straub, including the delivery cardiorespiratory and related services and serving as a technical resource on all aspects of respiratory care. We are looking for someone with great communications and patient care skills, the ability work in collaboratively in a team-oriented atmosphere and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people. Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatrics Advanced Life Support (PALS) CPR cards. Current Hawai‘i State Respiratory Therapist License. Preferred Experience: One (1) year respiratory care or related experience.
