Responding to Accusations (Psalm 59) Davids accusers would return in the evening like a snarling pack of dogs. His response, whether rightly or wrongly accused was always the same. He would sing of Gods strength, love and His fortress. In the Sermon on the Mount Jesus said rejoice and be exceedingly glad when you are falsely accused and slandered for the name of Christ. Davids example for handling false accusation is the same as the Lords:----when accused, rather than complain, sing praise to God. A tough order, but the right response of a Christian.
