Response to Patricia Dave and Khamaj Dave MD ‘s posting: 1. Patricia and Khamaj Dave – Please provide the number of the police report that you referenced. You mentioned that a report was closed stating that Riley had been eaten. We do not know of any such report, so if you are not lying, then please let everyone know the report number so we can all read it. 2. The Camarillo Police Dept has never told us that they saw Riley being eaten. Deputy Pugh of CPD said that Patricia Dave TOLD them that happened and that we should “just let it go.” The only person we have spoken with from the Ventura Police Dept is Det. Mike McConville. We called him 3 times and he did not answer the phone, even when we gave the times for when we would call. He also did not call us back. We started leaving msgs for him on October 6th. He finally called us yesterday (November 10th) after Patricia met our volunteer. Did Patricia tell him to call us again? Seems like a big coincidence… especially considering that Patricia admitted to the volunteer that she and her husband, Khamaj, know Det. McConville’s father personally. You can hear a recording of the voicemail we left for Det. McConville on Oct 6th at the link below: youtu.be/kB0Q4H4aU2A 3. Patricia and Khamaj Dave repeatedly say that we were aggressive and confrontational. We are eagerly waiting for approval from the Dave’s to post the recording of our conversation with them. In the meantime, we have posted the voicemails we left for the Dave’s at the links below: youtu.be/7LPvBEV6SLU youtu.be/-oOqpbTpJac 4. Patricia and Khamaj’s posting says that they thought the harness belonged to their gardeners, because the gardeners bring their dogs with them when coming to work on the Dave’s house. This seems absolutely absurd. What gardeners bring their Chihuahuas to work? During our first conversation, Patricia told us that she had found the harness two weeks before, but had never called the number on the tags. Within less than a day of getting the official postcard with Riley’s picture, Patricia called the number on the postcard (at 7 am on Saturday, 8/30) – even though there was no reason to assume that the harness had anything to do with Riley. The number on the postcard was different from the one on the harness and Riley’s name was not on the harness. It would seem that the Dave’s saw Riley and because of this, knew to call the number on the postcard. 5. What is the name of the gardener that found the harness? After 3 months, Patricia and Khamaj still won’t tell us so we can talk to the gardener directly. 6. Riley was seen after he was supposedly eaten by a coyote. There was no blood on the harness. Even though Patricia described the harness as completely undamaged (including describing the white cloth tag on it in detail), the white tag was ripped off when we got the harness. In our opinion, they did this because they realized that the white tag showed immediately the lack of blood. 7. The posting says that bounty hunters were posting flyers for Riley. This is a blatant lie. We have gone by the Dave’s street numerous times. The ONLY third party flyers we have ever seen belonged to Simi Valley Missing Pets. Are the Dave’s calling them bounty hunters? If not, then they should be eager to identity these supposed bounty hunters for the safety of their own neighborhood.
