Responses to Eddies dumb claim article He is going to be really annoyed now......this is an invite for you to respond Mr. Mayor............. Dennis Radosz · Owner-Operator at Aquariumwindsor Aquaticcentre Everyone is talking about high rates but lets not forget about the outrageous security deposits they nail you with...$2000......$4000.....$5000...etc....and they cannot explain how they calculated those rates......and that is what is killing Windsor business....you have the deposits to pay off along with your already outlandish time of use billing.....these fees are not based on square footage or credit history and are not the same for everyone...some of the smaller businesses have bigger deposits than the larger ones........Ill never forget what the mayor said at the Enwin public meeting....there are no rebates, credits or refunds on deposits under any circumstances with that stern look in his eye.....any shred of respect that was left for that man went right out the window...Windsorites are hard working people and deserve a better respect!! Did the reporter ask the appropriate questions to gain a true understanding of who is most likely correct? Are there any documents referenced to and linked to, to prove the claims being made? I know other sites where this issue has been discussed provides clear links and easy to understand explanations for what these documents are saying. He seemed like a breath of fresh air when he first took office.During his first term he appeared to be steering Windsor back on to the path of fiscal responsibility. He impressed me as a man of integrity, but somewhere along the line (perhaps the entire time) he veered toward secrecy and stonewalling valid queries from council and the public. The Windsor Star enabled Mr. Francis by acting as his personal P.R., allowing him to further his ego, and mitigate his genuine disdain and outright contempt for dissent. This newspaper has blood on its hands, and should be ashamed by their actions. The lack of true journalism is appalling. If the editorial staff had been doing their job, maybe the Mayors true persona and agenda wouldve been exposed years ago. Its only now that so many of his nefarious exploits are coming to light. Before, all we had was gossip, rumour, and innuendo. When we finally get an audit that fully reveals Enwins finances, among other issues, only then can we put this behind us and move forward. I cant wait till Eddie is gone and this new city counsel is in i am hoping some changes are going to be made. Its pretty bad when i pay more for water the electricity Reply · Like · 2 · Follow Post · 4 hours ago Patricia Dow · Top Commenter Enwin is Eddies personal piggy bank. God help the members of the WFCU credit union when he starts to work there, members will have to pay to members, pay to open an account, pay per month to be member then add all the other usual charges that no doubt will be raised. There will be a board of directors hand picked (not voted legally) to be the people that will always say yes to Eddie and do what ever he says. He already has them brainwashed. Someone needs to track the money straight from the plant to Windsor homes. What are the true operating costs including labor and operations. Who are the skimmers and pirates along the way. Enwin is a vicious predatory company who charges late fees in advance so we know already they are crooked but who else is being crooked along the way? Whats the true cost of treating waste? How much do the employees make and are their wages commeasuring with Enwin rate increases? There are lots of ways to find things out, without having to ask the criminals to tell. The business heads and political corporate whores will never divulge their dishonesty willingly. Start with treatment plant. How many employees. How much and what kind of chemicals and their costs. How much for maintenance and repairs (The devil may be in those details). Is the building and property paid for or did the Corporation of the City of Windsor sell or lease it? Find the entire cost of everything and then pick it apart until you find what it really cost and then have Dalton McGuinty deported back to Canada for trial. My late husband died too, from a stress related heart attack at the hands of his adjudicator, the lovely Patti Leclair, who abruptly cut him off and told him to get back to work !!! Heartless people indeed. I have since remarried and moved on, but will never forget what they did for sure !!! An audit will name the culprits and directors of the money but we have to start at the beginning to see exactly how much hydro and everything tacked to it really costs because we have been lied to about it. Reply · Like · 1 · Follow Post · 32 minutes ago Mike Spencer · Top Commenter I can remember people complaining back in 1975 about their hydro bills which came every two months being around $50 and how outrageous that was. Now people are paying $300-$500 per month or more for the same damn thing. What happened between now and then? Ill tell you what happened. You were all smoozed by businessmen/women politicians who promised you they would run government like a business and be fiscally responsible. Well they kept part of that promise and went a step further and turned your governments into a business and made you all their personal employees and property and you all helped them do it! They havent screwed YOU! YOU screwed YOU by enabling THEM!. Remember that next time you vote if your not too lazy to do it!
