Rest in peace, Lou Guzzo. You will always have a special place in my heart. I was always so grateful for your ardent support back in 1995, when I was a wide-eyed 17-year-old high school newspaper editor, facing down the police over some photos. Your letter and presence during one of the court hearings was a boost. However, when you offered to go to jail with me, it really freaked my mom out (not your offer, of course, but the prospective of jail).
