Rest in peace, sweet Baron. This gentle soul entered rescue after spending months living in a WalMart parking lot in southern KY. He was malnourished and heartworm positive. Prior to undergoing treatment, it was determined his kidney values were of concern. But, treatment was his only option for survival. He made it through treatment, but his kidneys were just not healthy enough to continue to support him. Today, surrounded by the love of his foster family, he took his last breath. This is not the outcome we had hoped for, but he spent the last 5+ months in the comfort of a loving home and snuggles on the sofa. Many thanks to those who made donations to the rescue toward his care and treatment. ❤️
