“Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; Do not fret because of him who prospers in his way, Because of the man who brings wicked schemes to pass. Psalm 37:7”. Finally the week is nearly over and thank God it is Friday! Some of us may have had a really good week and for some it may not have been so good. But we have managed to get through it all. Did we do everything right this week? Or did we make mistakes? Did we lose our patience or did we remain calm throughout the week? Our resting patiently in the Lord would probably apply to the trials which He sends for the betterment of us and not to the troubles which even Christians often make for themselves. Firstly, do we actually know what it is like to rest in the Lord and wait patiently? We often forget that there is a God above us and we tend to take control of all our problems thinking that we can solve them by ourselves. This is when we become tired and exhausted because no matter how hard we try we simply cannot deal with it all. We need help from above! Prayer: Dear Lord, teach me to rest in You and wait for You.
