Option 1 (no travel assistance), 14 votes for) Option 2 (with travel assistance, 8 votes for) Option 3 (Regional Qualifying, 2 votes for) Therefore option one was resolved. • Entry fees of $430 p team • Accommodation, on-ground expenses, and travel to be paid by participating Centres. • Funding, Centres to make their own quotes and submit funding applications. • Lunches will not be provided, so finalists will need to make their own arrangements. • It is now not a requirement that accredited coaches accompany team • National final to rotate between Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch. Bowls NZ had feedback from Regional Forums that with the Bowls NZ move to a user pays environment for all of their events, it was becoming just too expensive for our community to take part in Bowls NZ events. We undertook to take a survey out to our community asking if they wanted particular events to continue. Major points below. Mixed Pairs and National Club Championship Finals which were held in Dunedin last month, may now be held in October of the same year to enable fund-raising for participants. Centre Playing Programmes have been set for the 2014-2015 Season, so we are not able to move the National Finals to October of the 2015-2016 Season but we will look at finding the finalists for the 2015-2016 season as we do now, but having the finals in October 2016-2017 If the winner of any event is unable to attend National Finals, the runner-up will take their place.
