Result of last nights game - Expats United 5 Udon Athletic 4 For this game we welcomed back Danny to our team, and also saw an ex Lyon player make his debut. It is amazing how much effort, skill and team spirit we put into each game.We play against much younger, fitter Thai teams and we have a very impressive set of performances and results. Our team put in yet another great team performance in this game. Our keeper played really well. Tony had a stormer of a game -especially in the second half. Tim played through injury and read the game brilliantly. Giovanni played with fantastic energy and commitment. Nico and Mack had the difficult job of winning the midfield battle and did so superbly. Danny was excellent upfront and never stopped running. The only disappointment was that Goran had to come off injured,which was such a shame after he was playing really great in the first half. Goals were flying in at both ends of the pitch and at the end of the game. Some players thought the game ended 5-5, and others thought we won 5-4. After a few beers at Nicos birthday celebration after the game we decided we won 5-4! A big thank you to Ben for his support, and being part of the management team for the game.
