Results from last weekend. Saturday 16 August - ANZ Stadium Sydney. Game One of the Bledisloe Cup/ Rugby Championship. Referee: Mr. J. Peyper (South Africa) On a very wet and slippery evening, a decision was made to have the game on the grass as opposed to under cover. We arrived early and set up in the Gold Brigade tent for pre show entertainment. On walking into the grounds we soon realised we were not covered by any of the roof but we were in the front row. At this show were Wolfproud Lawrence, Wolfproud Lee, Wolfproud Groupie Thomas and Wolfproud Balenzuela. An eye was kept on Wolfproud Lawrence as All Black McCaw was only a short jump over a fence and a small run. The national anthems were sung, the Haka performed and a great game was watched. At the end, the Great Qantas Wallabies were held to a 12 all draw by the Desperate All Blacks. Attached are some photos from a great weekend. Thanks to Belinda for organising everything.
